The Mission Check EV Pod

A read-only diagnostic device and evidence platform being developed to help dealers and fleets understand the battery, charging behaviour and real-world capability of a working electric vehicle—vans, taxis and private-hire cars, wheelchair-accessible vehicles, minibuses, electric trucks, service vehicles and specialist working vehicles.

What it is not

The Pod is not available to buy.

There is no manufactured product, no certification and no price. What exists is a specification, an industrial-design concept and a pilot programme using existing diagnostic hardware while vehicle coverage is validated.

Boundaries built into the device

  • Read-only. The Pod never sends write commands to a vehicle.
  • It never changes vehicle settings.
  • It never clears fault codes.
  • Compatibility is established model by model. Universal state-of-health access is not promised.
  • Readings are labelled with their source, and a reading that is not available stays Not verified.

Drive Check, Charge Check and Pod hardware are later controlled phases, not currently promised as operational.

Limits and wording+

Until physical hardware is connected, evidence workflows are tested with a clearly labelled simulator restricted to Mission Check EV development accounts. Simulated sessions are labelled as simulations everywhere and their certificates can never be published.

Mission Check EV does not measure battery capacity. Doing so would require validated test hardware and a validated method, and would be described only when both exist.

Mission Check EV is developed by One Fleet Technologies Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. Mission Check EV is a trading name and product of One Fleet Technologies Ltd.
